Structural & MEP design

Coordinated structural and MEP design covering the structure, HVAC, plumbing and drainage, electrical and low-current systems.

What the service covers

  • Structural design
  • HVAC design
  • Plumbing and drainage design
  • Electrical design
  • Low-current systems design (CCTV, data networks, telecom and public address)

About the service

Structural design determines a building’s safety and cost efficiency; MEP systems determine occupant comfort and running costs. We work on both together and coordinate their routes with the architectural drawings to reduce clashes on site.

We prepare drawings, calculations and specifications for each discipline and check their interfaces with the fire protection systems, so you get one integrated drawing set that is straightforward to permit, price and build.

How we work

  1. Understand your project

A short conversation on WhatsApp or by phone to understand the project type, its use, its current stage and the documents you already have.

  2. Define scope and requirements

We review the available drawings and information, identify the services needed and the reviewing authorities involved, and set out the expected deliverables before work starts.

  3. Design and coordinate

We prepare the design, drawings and technical documents and coordinate them across architecture, structure, MEP and fire protection.

  4. Deliver and follow up

We hand over clear deliverables and follow up on authority review comments or site queries until they are closed.

Frequently asked questions

Why coordinate structural and MEP design together?

Because ductwork and service routes cross beams and slabs. Early coordination reduces changes during construction, along with the cost and time they bring.

Does the service include low-current systems?

It can include systems such as CCTV, data networks, telecom and public address, depending on what the project needs.

Do I need a soil report before structural design?

In most projects a soil investigation report is a key input for foundation design. If you do not have one, we will explain when it is needed and how to commission it.

Talk to us about your project

Send the project type, location and stage, plus any drawings or comments you have, and we will outline the proposed scope and next step.
